Crocheting Rugs
A crochet workshop with Lee Rivera
Saturday June 24th, 2023 - 11am - 1pm
Join instructor Lee Rivera to use your basic crochet skills to create a beautiful rug for your own (or someone else’s) home! The instructor will demonstrate how to create your own cordage using old bed sheets and other recycled fabric, and to use over-sized crochet hooks to crochet with your cordage to create a rug.
This is not a beginners crochet class - participants are required to have some experience and familiarity with basic crocheting to participate.
Materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring old bed sheets or other fabric to use if you wish. We will provide crochet hooks at the size required to work in this way that you may purchase if you wish, or you can bring your own crochet hooks size 11.5 or 12.
