Introduction to Alcohol Inks

An ink painting workshop with Beth Kluth

Saturday, August 19th, 2023 - 1pm - 3.30pm

Alcohol inks are vibrant, yet transparent, dyes in an alcohol base. This fluid medium allows you to create amazing effects and beautiful artwork, no matter your artistic skills.  In this 2.5-hour workshop, you'll learn about the properties of alcohol ink as well as tips to guide and blend them to create three pieces of art, including florals and landscapes. Each painting will be finished and matted to 8x10 inches, ready for framing! 

Due to the specialist materials required for this workshop there is a materials fee of $10 per participant in addition to the registration fee that must be brought on the day of the workshop. This covers the cost of alcohol inks, specialty paper, and matting supplies.

This workshop is for adults and children aged 14+.

Artist/instructor Beth Kluth has been working with alcohol inks for the last eight years and has taught over 600 live workshops in the last seven years.
