Join us for an evening of exploring dreams in art “surreal style”. Inspired by the exhibition Betwixt and Between: A Show of Dreams we will follow in the footsteps of the gatherings of surreal artists in the 1920s and explore what we can find when we look beyond reality.

We will create collectively and play the game of “exquisite corpses”, juxtapose imagery in provocative collages, and try spontaneous automatic writing and drawing.

This evening is geared towards adults, but we also welcome teens/young adults. 

Your instructor will be Teaching Artist Monika Metzenthin who has been facilitating creative experiences for audiences of all ages in all media for over two decades.
