During this workshop series, We'll write, we'll enjoy Mary Oliver's, A Poetry Handbook, and we'll top it all by holding a poetry reading for our community! About Eva: Eva Poole-Gilson has published poetry, journalism, and stories internationally in over 20 journals and newspapers. In Jan. 2016, she was chosen to study with U.S. Poet-Laureate, Billy Collins, at the Kay West Literacy Workshop along with 11 other poets. Eva has written plays that have been performed at Mammoth Lakes Repertory Theater by Poetic Justice Project, she has been a guest writer for the California Writers Club, a poet-teacher for California Poets in the Schools, and has published books, Love Letter From a Poet to the High Sierra, Little Star Sleeping, Whiskered Wisdom available at local bookstores
