Drop all of the painting rules you may have been taught and come paint what you are feeling in the moment! This will be an evening of painting colors, shapes, experimenting, layering, and enjoying the process though acrylic paint!
Art is often seen as something for the viewer, but that is really just a by-product of creating. In this class we are going to focus on our experience while creating and not so much about the ‘end product.’ We will start by familiarizing ourselves with acrylics and how to use them, move into a loose warm up, then everyone will get to create a large abstract painting that will be broken up into smaller individual pieces by the end of the night.
