My contribution to the art in storefronts project is an abstract composition of the word create. Using earth tones I decided to produce the word in an organic state, flowing like water or growing like the blooming rose flower; complementing the plant like abstract. 

Corey Posner hails from an artistic community within the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Beginning painting street art at a young age, he has since developed and evolved into a mural painter and participating fine artist. After continual traveling, in exploration of natural beauty and self, he landed in the welcoming community of Bishop, at the base of the Sierra mountains in California. He is currently employed as a fabricator for a radio observatory. His interests include climbing in the mountains, as well as painting for shows/ walls in the region. As more opportunities arise, his hope is to transition and grow into a full time artist and mural painter exhibiting work wherever possible throughout the world.
