Stacked circles representing the layers of the Owen's Valley. From the dynamic skies to the Owen's river, and all the mountains and valleys in between. The layers are meant to show the variety of animals and ecology the valley has to offer. The left side represents the west side of the valley. Mount Tom is at the top, with the buttermilks below, following down the valley with mount thumb at big pine and Independence peak to Mount Whitney and the Alabama Hills. The right side is the east side of the valley with the white mountains, the fields of Mules and Horses, down through the bristlecone pine forest.  This piece was designed to be interactive, so the sky and the animals rotate, illustrating the bustle of life in the valley.
